Corridor receives landscape architects merit award

Co-Lin’s Corridor project recently received a Merit Award at the Mississippi Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects Professional Awards program. WAS Design, Inc. served as the landscape architect for the corridor and submitted the project in the public design category of the competition. The corridor received one of only two Merit Awards given during the Professional Awards program. The winners were determined by a blind jury comprised of out-of-state professionals.
WAS Design, Inc. was responsible for overall site design and layout including walkways, paving, raised planters, decorative elements, plant design, irrigation, lighting, and all other architectural features included in the corridor project. The corridor officially opened in October 2016 and boasts beautiful walkways, extensive landscaping including over 4,500 plants and trees, and seating areas for students and staff to enjoy.
