Delta State, Co-Lin form partnership for entertainment industry program

Co-Lin and Delta State University recently launched a 2+2 program in the music/entertainment industry field. Delta State University’s Delta Music Institute (DMI) will now offer Co-Lin students the opportunity to transfer up to 60 credit hours, that includes five new music classes specific to the DMI program, into the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Industry Studies degree. As part of the 2+2 program, students will first complete two years of academic courses at Co-Lin and then complete the remaining two years at DSU.
The Delta Music Institute is an independent center under the College of Arts & Sciences at Delta State University. The Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Industry Studies is a program combining technology, business, and creative coursework specific to the music and entertainment industry. The DMI features three unique recording studios that provide students with hands-on training in recording and mixing, and are designed to accommodate both large scale recording and multiple types of mixing in surround sound.
