Participants successfully completing non-credit classes, courses, or programs in Continuing Education or other approved campus programs can be awarded Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are given to recognize and record an individual’s participation in a pre-approved non-credit educational program or course that meets appropriate criteria. Many times, these programs or courses take the forms of on-site or online workshops, seminars, conferences, or in-service training. One CEU is equal to 10 contact hours of participation in an approved program under responsible leadership, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

For Co-Lin to award CEU credit(s), approval for the course or program must be obtained from the Director of Workforce Education. The Division of Workforce Education will then issue registration forms that must be completed by each participant. Once approved, course administrators must submit a copy of all registration forms, a course syllabus, instructor(s)’ resumes, date(s) of the course to the Director of Workforce Education.
