The Billy B. Thames Conference Center on the Wesson Campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College is a modern, all-occasion facility that creates the perfect environment for all types of educational and social functions, including banquets, seminars, workshops, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. The facility is used by individuals for private functions as well as by local business, industry, educational, and civic groups. The Thames Conference Center staff works in cooperation with the Workforce Education Division of the college to provide specialized programs, education, and training for the needs of business, industry, and other organizations.
As an added convenience, the facility is nestled in a quiet setting adjacent to the college’s Wolf Hollow Golf Course.
The Thames Center is named in honor of the college’s former president, Dr. Billy B. Thames, who served from 1968–1997.

Facilities
The conference center contains a large banquet hall that can be subdivided into three rooms. This room can be set up into banquet, theater, reception, or classroom styles. For your convenience, a computer lab, a large conference room, and two smaller conference rooms are located in the conference center, and a full-service kitchen is conveniently situated next to the banquet hall. The setting is spectacular with a patio that runs the length of the back of the facility and a golf course is adjacent to the center. Our facilities are suitable for banquets, receptions, training programs, specialized meetings, retreats, reunions, strategic planning sessions, or annual employee events.
Amenities
Our staff will work with you to provide AV and equipment needs including wireless and high-speed internet access; data projectors; laptops; fixed and wireless microphones; flip charts; whiteboards; TV, DVD, and VCR cart; lectern or podium; riser or platform; registration table; flag; and piano. When making your reservation, we try to determine all of your setup needs so that we can have your space ready when you arrive, allowing you to focus on your event.
Catering & Food Service
Valley is the dining services contractor for the conference center. Their experienced staff will work with you to provide flexible and creative menus for your event. All catering will be quoted on a per-function basis. Prices vary depending on the type of function you plan and the number of guests that will be served. Directions/Location
The Thames Conference Center at Copiah-Lincoln Community College is located just off Interstate 55 at Exit 51. Co-Lin is north of Brookhaven in Wesson, Mississippi, which is 45 miles south of Jackson and 140 miles north of New Orleans.
