- Endowed/Leadership Scholarship Application is available.
February
- First disbursement of student loan funds for the semester is approximately the second Thursday.
March
- March 1 is the deadline for submitting the Endowed/Leadership Scholarship application.
- Deadline for submitting the federal direct loan request is the first Friday of the month.
- Refunds of financial aid credit balances are available approximately the second Thursday of the month.
- Begin processing FAFSA applications for upcoming school year.
April
- Financial aid award notifications begin.
May
- Summer school awarding begins.
- Satisfactory academic progress will be checked after spring grades are posted.
- Summer term begins approximately the third week of the month.
June
- Summer school loan disbursements begin the third Thursday of the month.
- Last date to submit FAFSA for the current school year is June 30.
July
- Refunds of financial aid credit balances will be 3rd Thursday of the month.
- Satisfactory academic progress will be checked after summer grades are posted.
August
- Students can check accounts for all financial aid awards and student charges after 1st week of the month. If you have not been fully awarded, stay in touch with the Financial Aid Office to complete your award process.
- Fall term begins.
September
- Last date to submit the online state application for the year is September 15.

- Deadline for Federal Direct loan certification for the fall term is October 31.
- October 1: Application for new aid year becomes available online at https://www.msfinancialaid.org/
- Refunds for financial aid credit balances are expected the first Thursday of the month.
- October 1: FAFSA application for the NEXT award year will be available online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
